Evaluation Process

Before the Assessment

Intake information is gathered from various sources including parents, teachers, and clients to determine specific assessment needs. This process may include phone interviews, reviewing work samples, and/or electronic questionnaires.

Comprehensive Evaluation

A full individual educational evaluation will be conducted that includes assessment of cognitive, academic, and executive function abilities. This may take anywhere from 3-5 hours depending on age and assessment battery.

Follow Up

A meeting with the parents/client including a detailed written report and interpretation of all assessment data (present levels of performance), cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses, diagnostic impression, summary, and recommendations that can be used in a school or work setting to create an individualized education plan including accommodations to meet the needs of diverse learners.
