We gather intake information from parents, teachers, and clients to identify specific assessment needs. The intake process may include phone interviews, reviewing previous evaluations, screeners, and using electronic questionnaires/surveys.
The evaluation will check thinking skills, school performance, and how well a person can plan and organize (executive functions). This process can take 2 to 4 hours, depending on the person's age and the types of tests used.
The report will explain the assessment data, focusing on the student's current performance and identifying their strengths and weaknesses in thinking and academics. It will also provide a diagnostic impression and suggestions for educational interventions and accommodations to support different types of learners. Diagnosticians are available to answer questions.
We know early intervention is key; therefore, we serve clients from second-semester kindergarten through Adulthood.
